Chef Damaso Lee's education boasts scholarship-awarded training at the Culinary Institute of America, including advanced culinary courses at the Greystone Campus. While studying in Napa Valley, he had additional training with Thomas Keller and Michael Chiarello at two of Napa Valley's most prestigious restaurants - The French Laundry in Yountville and The Vigne in St. Helena.
In 2000, he was presented a "Medal d'Or" by Julia Child for his work with the UCSD Cancer Center Benefit.
"Every day and at every event, a new skill awaits me," Chef Lee imparts. "Cooking is a craft that continues to challenge and delight me. I'll never be done learning how to connect one ingredient to another or how to merge an exotic flavor to a new dish."
Damaso has developed a passion for his new career as a personal chef where he is able to focus on creative, healthy, and innovative menus to meet each individual client's needs.
